<metadataxml><cemetery /><transcription>Samuel Sturmwald.
Samuel Sturmwald, who for many years was engaged in the liquor business in the Eastern District, died Friday at his home 999 Broadway, after a short illness. He was born in Brooklyn 44 years ago, and lived the greater part of his life in the Eastern District. Mr. Sturmwald was a member of the Levy Lodge, No. 5, Independent Order, Free Sons of Israel; Court Weiner, No. 71, Foresters of America; Bartenders' Union of Brooklyn, No. 71. He is survived by a father, a widow, Tillie, one son Irwin, a daughter Fannie, and several brothers and sisters. The funeral will be held this afternoon from his late home, Rabbi Raphael Benjamin, of the Keap Street Temple officiating. Interment will be made in Salem Field Cemetery, Cypress Hills.</transcription></metadataxml> |
